DAY TWO RECAP

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. -- Ashley Knight and Madison Butler are tied for fourth place after the second round of play at the 2019 Horizon League Championship on Monday at the Las Colinas Course at the Mission Inn Resort & Club.

Knight posted the Vikings low round of the day as she had 12 pars on her way to a 79 over the par-73, 6,087-yard layout at Las Colinas. Her 36-hole score of 155 has her tied for fourth in the medalist standings.

Butler followed up her opening-round 75 with an 80. Her round included 11 pars and she is tied with Knight for fourth place overall.

Led by Knight and Butler, Cleveland State is currently fourth in the team standings with a two-day total of 638. IUPUI leads the team standings with a score of 627, while Oakland is second with a score of 630 and Youngstown State is third with a 635.

Kaylee Neumeister cut six shots off of her opening round as she posted an 80 over her second 18 holes of play, which has her tied for 23rd overall.

Meg Rossouw shot an 81, a four shot improvement from her opening round, and is tied with Neumeister for 23rd place with a 36-hole score of 166.

Grace Zimmerman shot an 86 on her second round and her two-round total of 168 has her 30th overall.

The final round of the 2019 Horizon League Tournament will be contested on Tuesday (April 23) at the Las Colinas Course.
