YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Kaylee Neumeister carded an even-par 72 to share medalist honors on Saturday at the Youngstown State Spring Invitational at the Youngstown Country Club.

Neumeister shared medalist hoor with Katlyn Shutt of Youngstown State as each player fired a 72. It marked the second career medalist honor for Neumeister who also won the Oakland/Youngstown State tri-match on Feb. 21, 2017. She becomes the first Cleveland State golfer to earn medalist honors since Ashley Knight was the medalist at the John Carroll Invitational on Sept 17-18, 2017.

Led by Neumeister, Cleveland State finished second in the team standings with a score of 308, while Youngstown State captured the team title with a score of 298.

Madison Butler also posted a top-five finish for the Vikings as she shot a three-over par 75 over the par-72, 5,914-yard layout at the Youngstown Country Club to place fifth.

Meg Rossouw finished third for the Vikings with a score of 79, which tied her for fourth overall in the individual standings.

Ashley Knight finished in a tie for 19th and Grace Zimmerman was tied for 21st overall. Knight shot an 82, while Zimmerman finished with an 84.

This marked the Vikings final tune-up of the season prior to the Horizon League Championship, which will be played April 21-23.
