Vikings Open Play at Grand Canyon Invitational

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Cleveland State women's golf team opened play at the Grand Canyon Invitational on Saturday with rounds of 322 and 316 and is in 14th place overall.

Senior Sophie Kelner is tied for 45th place with a 158 total after rounds of 82 and 76, while freshman Ashley Knight, who is playing as an individual, is also tied for 45th after back-to-back rounds of 79.

Sophomore Kaylee Neumeister shot 78-82 and is tied for 55th at 160, while senior Emily Turski (81-80) and freshman Amanda Baker (83-78) are tied for 60th palce at 161. Freshman Madison Butler is tied for 71st at 164 following rounds of 81-83.

The final round of the tournament will be played on Sunday.
