Vikings Open Play at Shirley Spork Invitational

YPSILANTI, Mich. - Cleveland State shot rounds of 307 and 315 and is in fourth place after the opening two rounds of the Shirley Spork Invitational that opened on Monday at the par-72, 6,127 yard Eagle Crest GC. The event is being hosted by Eastern Michigan.

The Vikings were in sixth place after the opening round and moved up two spots following Monday's afternoon round.

Freshman Amanda Baker is tied for 11th place overall with a 36 hole total of 152. Baker opened with a 74 and shot 78 in the afternoon, while her 24 pars today were tied for the third most among all players.

Sophomore Kaylee Neumeister shot 73-82 and is tied for 21st place at 155, while freshman Madison Butler carded rounds of 78-79 (157) and is tied for 28th place.

The final round of the event will be played on Tuesday.
