CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland State women's golf team will conclude the fall season at the Shirley Spork Invitational that will be contested on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 9-10).

The 54 hole event will be played at the par-72, 6,127 yard Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti, Mich.

In addition to CSU and host Eastern Michigan, the field will include Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Marshall, Oakland, Ohio, Dayton, Youngstown State, Western Michigan and individuals from Purdue.

Teams will play rounds one and two on Monday, beginning with a 9:00 am shotgun start with the final round slated for Tuesday morning with a 9:00 am shotgun start.

The Vikings have been out of action since finishing seventh of 10 teams at the Mary Fossum Invitational on Sept. 23-24 as sophomore Kaylee Neumeister tied for 18th place overall with rounds of 77-75-78.

Neumeister, a first team All-Horizon League selection last season, tops the team with a 75.9 scoring average and has posted the low team round of the fall with a 70 in the first round at Ball State.

Freshman Madison Butler is second on the team with a 77.8 average, just ahead of senior Sophie Kelner who has a 77.9 average.

Butler won the Roseanne Schwartz Invitational in her first career collegiate tournament, while Kelner was CSU's top finisher at the Ball State Cardinal Classic as she tied for 12th. Kelner opened the tournament with back-to-back rounds of even par 72.

The Vikings set the school record for low round with a 292 in the opening round of the Cardinal Classic as Neumeister shot a two-under-par 70 and Kelner fired a 72.
