Vikings Host Bowling Green & Youngstown State for Tri-Meet to Conclude Regular Season

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland State women's golf team will host a tri-meet with Bowling Green and Youngstown State on Friday (April 14) at the par-72, 5,995-yard Pine Hills G.C. in Hinckley, Ohio.

The first tee time of the event is scheduled for 2:10 pm with the teams playing an 18 hole round.

CSU was last in action over the weekend, placing fifth at the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational with rounds of 319 and 324. Freshman Kaylee Neumeister was CSU's top finisher, tying for eighth place with rounds of 79-78. It was her fourth top-10 finish this season.

Junior Sophie Kelner opened the tournament with a 74 and followed it with a second round 85 and tied for 12th place, while Emily Turski tied for 22nd place with a 163 total.

Neumeister leads the team with a 77.4 scoring average, which is currently tied for the lowest in a season in school history. Kelner ranks second on the team with a 78.9 average, while Ellie Cronin (80.2), Rayna Oosterhuis (81.6) and Emily Turski (81.8) round out CSU's lineup.

Brooke Ciccone will play in Friday's event as an individual.

As a team, the Vikings have posted a 315.7 scoring average, putting CSU on pace to break the individual season scoring mark of 320.0 set in 2012-13.

CSU is back in action at the Horizon League Championship at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., from April 23-25.
