CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland State freshman Kaylee Neumeister has been honored as the Horizon League Co-Women's Golfer of the Week the League announced.
Neumeister earned the honor after sharing medalist honors in a tri-meet with Oakland and Youngstown State on Feb. 21 in Florida.
She began her round with a birdie and an eagle en route to a one-over-par 73, helping the Vikings claim the team title in a match-up of the three teams picked at the top of the Horizon League Preseason Poll (Oakland, YSU, CSU).
It was her fourth top-five finish in six career events. She leads the team with a 76.5 scoring average.
The Vikings are now out of action until CSU competes at the Cardinal Challenge from March 17-19 in Beaumont, Texas.
