
LEWISBURG, Pa. - Cleveland State shot rounds of 318 and 326 and is in eighth place out of 17 teams after the first two rounds of the Bucknell Lady Bison Invitational that began on Saturday.
It is CSU's first tournament of the year.
Senior Shelly Ford and sophomore Allyson Hackman are tied for 19th place after the opening two rounds. Ford shot a 76 in the morning round, CSU's low round for the day, and followed that with an 82 for a 36 hole total of 158.
Hackman is also at 158 after 36 holes with rounds of 78 and 80.
Senior Madeline Kaminski is tied for 28th place after rounds of 79-82 (161), while junior Colleen Miller is tied for 44th place at 167 (85-82). Senior Micaela Cronin is tied for 50th place following rounds of 86-82 (168).
Freshman Mary Rose Metter is playing as an individual and is tied for 44th place (85-82 - 167).
William & Mary leads the tournament with a 36 hole total of 612, while Columbia is second at 615 and Seton Hall third at 624. Siena and Bucknell are tied for fourth place at 633 and are followed by Radford (635), Boston University (640), Cleveland State (644), Rutgers (650) and Lehigh (651) in the top-10.
The final round of the event will be played on Sunday.
