HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - Cleveland State shot a final round 315 and finished third of seven teams at the Horizon League Championship that concluded on Sunday at the par-72, 5,817-yard Mission Inn Resort.
The Vikings finished with a 54 hole total of 946 (312-319-315) to finish six shots behind runner-up Youngstown State (321-303-316 - 940). Detroit won the title with a 920 total (312-303-305).
Valparaiso was fourth at 950 and was followed by Loyola (974), Green Bay (996) and UIC (1,008).
Senior Ariel Sparrow and freshman Allyson Hackman tied for sixth place to earn spots on the all-tournament team.
Sparrow shot 80-75-78 (233), while Hackman carded rounds of 73-82-78 (233). Micaela Cronintied for 13th place at 242 (82-81-79), while Madeline Kaminski and Shelly Ford were tied for 17th place with 54 hole totals of 244.
