Lauren Bornstein will begin her second season at Cleveland State during the 2020-21 season, serving as the team’s director of basketball operations. Bornstein will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the women’s basketball team, travel arrangements and practice coordination.
Bornstein joined the Vikings last year following stints with the BIG EAST Conference Office Washington Wizards and Washington Mystics.
During her three seasons with the Wizards and Mystics, Bornstein spent two as the Basketball Operations Intern and one as the Sales Event Planning Intern, while she served as the Basketball Operations Assistant during her time with the BIG EAST.
Bornstein graduated with a degree in sport management from the University of Florida in 2016, where she served as a student manager for the women’s basketball team. She later earned a masters degree from George Washington in tourism administration with a concentration in sport management.
