Cleveland State Athletics Announces New Ticketing Strategy For 2023-24 Women’s Basketball Campaign

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State Athletics Department has announced a new ticket package for Viking women's basketball ahead of the 2023-24 campaign, as a portion of home games will be ticketed events. 

For the 2023-24 season, the Vikings are offering a $99 10-Game Plan, featuring courtside seats to four standalone women's basketball games and general admission tickets to six doubleheader dates. Games included in the 10-Game Plan are:

Courtside Seats (4 total games)
December 10 – Akron
January 6 – Youngstown State
January 13 – Purdue Fort Wayne
February 3 – Green Bay

General Admission Tickets (6 total games)
November 22 – Austin Peay {Woodling Gymnasium}
November 24 – Chicago State {Woodling Gymnasium}
November 25 – UMKC {Woodling Gymnasium} 

January 20 – IUPUI
February 17 – Milwaukee
March 2 – Northern Kentucky
*10-Game Plan holders will receive a reserved seat for the corresponding men's basketball games on the 1/20, 2/17 and 3/2 doubleheader dates. 

Fans interested in purchasing the $99 10-Game Plan can do so by CLICKING HERE or by calling the CSU Ticket Office at (216) 687-4848. Single game tickets for the four standalone games will also be available for purchase in advance or on gameday, while doubleheaders at Woodling and Wolstein Center are available by purchasing a men's basketball ticket for the corresponding game on those dates. 

Entering the 2023-24 campaign, Cleveland State returns six letterwinners from last season's #HLWBB Championship team, including reigning Horizon League Player of the Year Destiny Leo and All-League honoree Jordana Reisma. Leo finished her junior campaign ranked in numerous CSU career and single-season record book categories, while Reisma also finished the 2022-23 campaign ranked in the single-season record book. 

In addition, the Vikings return Sara Guerreiro and Carmen Villalobos who both earned time in the starting lineup throughout last season, along with Faith Burch and Shadiya Thomas

Seven newcomers, including three transfers who led their previous teams to NCAA Tournament appearances in their respective divisions, will join this returning core. 

The 2023-24 campaign will mark the sixth season under head coach Chris Kielsmeier, with the Vikings coming off a record-setting 30-5 season, including a trip to the NCAA Tournament after capturing the 2023 #HLWBB Championship – the third tournament title and NCAA tournament appearance in program history. 

A portion of women's basketball games during the 2023-24 season will still be FREE for all fans to attend:

November 18 – Central Michigan
November 29 – Robert Morris
December 6 – Niagara
January 10 – Detroit Mercy
February 7 – Wright State
February 15 – Oakland
