INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – After helping Cleveland State pick up a 90-83 overtime victory at DePaul last week, newcomer Jordana Reisma has been named the #HLWBB Freshman of the Week. This marks the first weekly honor for the Vikings this season.
Reisma and the Vikings improved to 2-1 on the young season after picking up their first win against the Blue Demons in over 30 years.
Reisma was just shy of a double-double at DePaul, finishing with nine points and nine rebounds in 33 minutes of action. In addition, the rookie tallied one assist and three blocked shots, while shooting 50-percent from the floor (4-for-8) on the game.
The nine points and nine rebounds marked season-highs for Reisma, while the three blocks gave her a team-best six blocked shots for the season – a category that she ranks fourth among #HLWBB players in.
Entering the third week of the 2022-23 campaign, Reisma is averaging 4.7 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.
