Women’s Basketball Comes Up Short At Detroit Mercy, 70-59

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's basketball team continued Horizon League play on the road Thursday evening, coming up short at Detroit Mercy in a 70-59 contest. The Vikings are now 13-4 on the season and 3-3 in #HLWBB play.

Game Stats
· Three Vikings finished the game in double-digits, led by Savanna Crockett with 17 points. Mariah Miller added 16 points and JaMiya Braxton chipped in 13 points.
· Mariah Miller grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds, while Savanna Crockett posted seven boards.
· Cleveland State recorded 16 offensive boards on the night, which led to 13 second chance points for the Vikings.
· As a team, the Vikings recorded 14 steals on the game, marking the seventh time this season that they have recorded double-digit takeaways.
· Mariah White and Savanna Crockett posted five steals each, while JaMiya Braxton finished with three takeaways.
