Women’s Basketball Falls To Detroit At #MotorCityMadness

DETROIT, Mich. – The Cleveland State women's basketball team opened #MotorCityMadness with a second round contest against Detroit Mercy Sunday afternoon, falling to the Titans, 70-56.

Cleveland State Single-Season Record Book
· With one made three-pointer against Detroit, Ashanti Abshaw tied for 10th in the single-season record book with 60 made three-pointers.
· Chrishna Butler ranks seventh in the single-season record book with a .403 clip from three-point (23-57).
· After posting one blocked shot against the Titans, Shadae Bosley tied for 10th in the single-season record book with 41 blocks.
· After a perfect 5-for-5 performance from the free throw line on the game, Khayla Livingston is tied for fifth in the single-season record book with a .816 clip from the charity stripe for the season (80-98).

Cleveland State Career Record Book
· With 41 total blocks on the season, Shadae Bosley ranks sixth in the CSU career record book with 87 career blocked shots – one of six Vikings all-time with at least 85 blocks.
· Khayla Livingston is now tied for sixth in the CSU career record book with a .758 clip from the free throw line (160-for-211).
· Ashanti Abshaw eclipsed the 1,050-point mark for her career, ending the game with 1,051 points just shy of earning a spot in the top-20 in scoring in the CSU career record book.

· Khayla Livingston finished with a team-high 21 points, marking her ninth 20-point game of the season.
· Chrishna Butler recorded 13 points on the game, marking her fourth double-digit scoring game out of the last five contests.
· Ashanti Abshaw tallied 10 points against Detroit and has now recorded double-digit points in all but two games this season.
·Olivia Voskuhl grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds against Detroit – her second double-digit rebound game of the season.
