SETTING THE SCENE
The Cleveland State women's basketball team will play its final road contest of the regular season this Saturday (February 11), traveling to Milwaukee for a 3:00 p.m. EST contest. Entering the game, the Vikings own a 12-12 overall record and stand at 7-6 in Horizon League play. Milwaukee enters the weekend with an overall record of 16-8 and own an 8-5 mark against league opponents.

THE CLEVELAND STATE/MILWAUKEE SERIES
This will be the 52nd meeting between the two teams, with Milwaukee owning a slight 28-23 advantage in the overall series. Milwaukee picked up a last-second 80-78 victory earlier this season, and has won four straight entering Saturday's game. Cleveland State's last victory against the Panthers came as a 67-58 decision back during the 2014-15 season.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
Milwaukee enters Saturday's game with a 16-8 overall record and owns an 8-5 record in Horizon League play...The Panthers currently sit in fourth place in the league standings, and have won three out of their last five games...Milwaukee has the second highest scoring offense in the league, averaging 74.8 points per game, while the Panthers also rank second with a .435 field goal percentage...Individually, Milwaukee has three players that are averaging double-digit points, including Steph Kostowicz who ranks sixth in the league averaging 16.0 points per game...Kostowicz also leads the Panthers and ranks sixth in the league averaging 8.0 rebounds per game.

LAST TIME OUT…
The Vikings snapped a mini two-game winstreak, falling at Green Bay, 79-60. Although the Vikings were able to keep the game close throughout the first half, the Phoenix pulled away during the final two quarters for the 19-point victory. Ashanti Abshaw (22 pts) and Khayla Livingston (13 pts) combined for 35 points to lead the Vikings.

VIKINGS ON THE ROAD
Saturday's contest at Milwaukee will mark the final game of a four-game roadswing for the Vikings – their final roadtrip during Horizon League regular season play. During this stretch, Cleveland State also traveled to UIC (W, 63-59), Valparaiso (W, 66-62), and Green Bay (L, 79-60). During the month of February, the Vikings will split time at home and on the road, playing four games away from the Wolstein Center before returning home for four straight games to close out their regular season slate.

ABSHAW ON THE SCORING CHARTS
After a 22-point performance at Green Bay last time out, redshirt sophomore Ashanti Abshaw continues to increase her career scoring mark, entering Saturday's game at Milwaukee with 955 career points. Abshaw has recorded double-digit points in all but two games this season, and has tallied 10 20-point games. For the season, Abshaw has 436 total points - one of four league players to reach the 400-point mark - and is on track to become one of the fastest Cleveland State players to reach the 1,000-point milestone.

…ABSHAW IN THE STARTING LINEUP
Redshirt sophomore Ashanti Abshaw is the only Viking to be a part of the starting five during every game this season, and marked her 53rd consecutive start for the Vikings at Green Bay last time out. Abshaw, who played just six games as a freshman before tearing her ACL, returned to start all 29 games as a redshirt freshman and has started all 24 games this year. Abshaw's 53 career starts leads all current Vikings.

LIVINGSTON CRACKS TOP-10 ON CAREER 3-POINT LIST
After converting a pair of three-pointers at Green Bay last time out, Khayla Livingston cracked the top-10 list in the CSU Career Record book for three-pointers made, ending the game tied for 10th place with 130 made three-pointers. Livingston, who has 46 made three-pointers this season, ranks fourth in the league averaging 2.0 three-pointers per game.

...LIVINGSTON CLOSING IN ON 850-POINT MARK
Entering Saturday's contest against the Panthers, Khayla Livingston is closing in on the 850-point mark for her career, entering the game with 830 points. Livingston, who has been one of Cleveland State's top offensive threats this season, currently ranks seventh on the league scoring chart averaging 15.0 points per game. Livingston is the second current Viking to reach the 800-point mark on their careers, and is now just 20 points shy of recording 850 career points.

BOSLEY ON CSU CAREER BLOCKED SHOTS LIST
Entering Saturday's game at Milwaukee, junior Shadae Bosley ranks eighth in the CSU Career Record book with 77 blocked shots. Bosley, who is one of just eight Vikings to record 75 career blocked shots, has tallied 31 total blocks this season and ranks second in the Horizon League averaging 1.4 blocks per game. Bosley enters Saturday's game four blocks shy of moving into seventh place on the list.

…VOSKUHL CLOSING IN ON 50 CAREER BLOCKED SHOTS
Entering Saturday's contest against the Panthers, Olivia Voskuhl is closing in on becoming the seventh player under head coach Kate Peterson Abiad to record 50 blocked shots, entering the game with 47 career blocks. Voskuhl, who has 16 total blocks this season, ranks 11th among Horizon League players averaging 0.7 blocks per contest, and has notched four blocked shots over the last six games.

The Vikings will return home for the final stretch of the regular season, beginning with a 5:30 p.m. contest against Wright State on Thursday, February 16.
