A WIN SATURDAY WOULD…
Give the Vikings back-to-back victories for the fourth time this season...Mark the season sweep of Valparaiso...Keep Cleveland State perfect during the month of February (2-0).

THE CLEVELAND STATE/VALPARAISO SERIES
This will be the 32nd meeting between the two teams, with Cleveland State owning a 16-15 advantage in the overall series. Cleveland State has been victorious in seven out of the last eight meetings between the two teams, including a 71-60 victory in the first meeting this season.

LAST TIME OUT…
The Vikings got back on the winning track, picking up a 63-59 victory at UIC. Khayla Livingston (24 pts) and Ashanti Abshaw (22 pts) both recorded 20-point games for the Vikings, as Cleveland State shot 45-percent from the field for the game (24-for-53). The Vikings recorded 16 assists on their 24 made field goals, including seven from Livingston.

VIKINGS ON THE ROAD
Saturday's contest at Valparaiso will mark the second game of a four-game roadswing for the Vikings – their final roadtrip during Horizon League regular season play. Cleveland State will also travel to UIC (W, 63-59), Green Bay (Feb. 9), and Milwaukee (Feb. 11) during this stretch. During the month of February, the Vikings will split time at home and on the road, playing four games away from the Wolstein Center before returning home for four straight games to close out their regular season slate.

VIKING SCORING DUO
Last time out, the Viking duo of Khayla Livingston and Ashanti Abshaw combined for 46 points - recording 73-percent of Cleveland State's offense against UIC. Livingston, who tallied her fifth 20-point game with a team-high 24 points, now ranks seventh among league players averaging 14.8 points per game this season. Abshaw was right behind Livingston, finishing with 22 points for her ninth 20-point game of the year. Entering Saturday's game at Valparaiso, Abshaw continues to sit in second place in the league standings averaging 18.3 points per game.

...ABSHAW REACHES 900-POINT PLATEAU
After notching her 900th career point against Green Bay last week, redshirt sophomore Ashanti Abshaw continued to increase her career scoring mark, finishing the UIC game with 922 career points. Abshaw has recorded double-digit points in all but two games this season and eclipsed the 400-point mark for the year with her 22-point performance at UIC. Abshaw is one of just three league players to reach the 400-point mark this season, and is on track to become one of the fastest Cleveland State players to reach the 1,000-point milestone.

...LIVINGSTON CLOSING IN ON 800-POINT MARK
Khayla Livingston is also closing in on a career scoring mark, entering Saturday's contest at Valparaiso with 795 career points. Livingston, who has been one of Cleveland State's top offensive threats during Horizon League play, has recorded four of her five 20-point games against league opponents this year, including a career-high 28-point effort at Oakland. Livingston needs just five more points to become the second current Viking to eclipse the 800-point mark for her career.

BOSLEY ON CSU CAREER BLOCKED SHOTS LIST
After notching three blocked shots for the second straight game at UIC last time out, junior Shadae Bosley moved into sole possession of eighth place in the CSU Career Record book, finishing the game with 75 career blocks. Bosley, who is one of just eight Vikings to record 75 career blocked shots, has tallied 29 total blocks this season and ranks second in the Horizon League averaging 1.5 blocks per game. Bosley enters Saturday's game at Valparaiso six blocks shy of moving into seventh place on the list.

…VOSKUHL CLOSING IN ON 50 CAREER BLOCKED SHOTS
Entering Saturday's contest against the Crusaders, Olivia Voskuhl is closing in on becoming the seventh player under head coach Kate Peterson Abiad to record 50 blocked shots, entering the game with 47 career blocks. Voskuhl, who has 16 total blocks this season, ranks 10th among Horizon League players averaging 0.7 blocks per contest, and has notched four blocked shots over the last four games.

ABSHAW IN THE STARTING LINEUP
Redshirt sophomore Ashanti Abshaw is the only Viking to be a part of the starting five during every game this season, and marked her 51st consecutive start for the Vikings against UIC last time out. Abshaw, who played just six games as a freshman before tearing her ACL, returned to start all 29 games as a redshirt freshman and has started all 22 games this year. Abshaw's 51 career starts leads all current Vikings.

LIVINGSTON IN HORIZON LEAGUE PLAY
Over the first 11 Horizon League contests of the season Khayla Livingston has really stepped up her offensive performance, averaging 18.1 points per game against league opponents, compared to her 11.2 point per game average that she had during non-league play. Livingston, who enters Saturday's game as one of just two current Vikings to have 750+ points on their careers, has tallied double-digit points in all but one league game this season, including a quartet of 20-point performances against Valparaiso (20 pts), Oakland (28 pts), Milwaukee (20 pts), and UIC (24 pts).
