CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State women's basketball team hosted its lone exhibition contest of the 2016-17 season Tuesday evening, posting a 77-72 victory over Ursuline College. The Vikings will now have to wait until next weekend for their season-opener, as Cleveland State will begin the 2016-17 campaign at Evansville on Saturday, November 12.

• Ashanti Abshaw led all scorers with 35 points on a .500 clip from the field (15-for-30).
• Khayla Livingston tallied 12 points, while Olivia Voskuhl and Mariah Miller both added nine points.
• Olivia Voskuhl led all rebounders, grabbing 14 boards, including five offense rebounds.
• Mariah Miller added seven rebounds for the Vikings, while Jade Ely grabbed six and Ashanti Abshaw and Nicolete Newman both recorded five boards.
• Olivia Voskuhl notched four steals on the game, while Shadae Bosley recorded three and Ashanti Abshaw posted two takeaways.
