SETTING THE SCENE
The Cleveland State women's basketball team will close out its annual trip to Wisconsin Saturday (February 13) afternoon, taking on the Green Bay Phoenix at 2:00 p.m. EST. Cleveland State enters the weekend with a 5-17 overall record and a 2-10 mark in Horizon League action, while Green Bay currently sits atop the league standings with a 20-3 overall record and a 10-1 record in league play.

THE CLEVELAND STATE/GREEN BAY SERIES
This will be the 64th meeting between the two teams, with Green Bay owning a 58-5 advantage in the overall series. Cleveland State's last two victories against the Phoenix came at the Kress Events Center, during the 2009-10 and 2007-08 seasons.
SCOUTING THE PHOENIX
Green Bay enters Saturday's contest with a 20-3 overall record and a 10-1 mark in Horizon League play…Green Bay has won three straight entering the weekend, with its only league loss coming against Oakland (58-56)…The Phoenix were receiving votes in the most recent Top-25 Women's Basketball Poll…Green Bay is atop the league standings entering Saturday's contest…Green Bay is outscoring its opponents by an average of 14.2 points per game - a mark that leads the Horizon League…The Phoenix also lead the league with a +4.3 turnover margin, forcing their opponents into an average of 18.3 turnovers per game…Green Bay has three players averaging double-digit points; Alli LeClaire (13.0 ppg), Kaili Lukan (10.5), and Mehryn Kraker (10.0)…Jessica Lindstrom is just shy of averaging double-digit points (9.8 ppg), while she averages a team-high 8.8 rebounds per game.

Cleveland State's last two games have gone to overtime, as the Vikings picked up an 88-75 victory against Oakland last weekend, and then fell to Milwaukee, 59-58 on Thursday. So far this season, the Vikings are 1-2 in overtime games, while they own a 10-3 record in overtime contests over the past seven seasons.
BOSLEY BLOCK PARTY
Over the past two games, Shadae Bosley has combined for 11 blocked shots, including a career-high seven blocks against Oakland last weekend. Bosley's seven blocked shots against the Golden Grizzlies marks a season-high among Horizon League players this year, while it is also tied for second on the Cleveland State individual game record list. For the season, Bosley has 31 blocked shots and ranks fifth among league players averaging 1.5 blocks per game.
AIDEYMAN ECLIPSES 500 CAREER POINTS
Last time out, Adesuwa Aideyman eclipsed the 500-point mark for her career, entering Saturday's contest at Green Bay with 502 career points. Aideyman, who has been averaging 12.0 points per game over the last three games, is the first current Viking to reach the milestone. During the last three games, Aideyman has notched 36 points, with 27 of her 36 points coming on three-pointers (9-for-16).
ABSHAW NOTCHES BACK-TO-BACK 20-POINT GAMES
Ashanti Abshaw recorded her second straight 20-point performance against Milwaukee last time out, finishing with 20 points against the Panthers. Abshaw, who has tallied six 20-point games this season, was just shy of her career-high with 24 points against Oakland last weekend. For the season, Abshaw has been Cleveland State's top offensive threat during 13 games, including nine games during league play.
VIKINGS ON THE DEFENSIVE END
Entering Saturday's game against the Phoenix, Cleveland State continues to lead the Horizon League averaging 10.2 steals per game, as the Vikings have 224 total steals on the year. The Vikings have notched double-digit takeaways 15 times this season, including a season-high of 14 at Valparaiso (Jan. 21).
…SMITH ON THE DEFENSIVE END
Brooke Smith has been Cleveland State's top defensive player this season, as she is averaging a league-best 3.0 steals per game. Smith, who is the only league player to average more than 3.0 steals per game, has notched at least two steals in all but five games this season, and notched a career-high of eight against UNCG and Oakland earlier this year. Nationally, Smith ranks seventh with her 3.0 steals per game, while she also ranks 12th with her 67 total steals this season.
LIVINGSTON FROM BEHIND-THE-ARC
Redshirt sophomore Khayla Livingston currently sits atop the Cleveland State career record book with a .400 three-point field goal percentage (72-for-180), and has been Cleveland State's top three-point shooter this season. For the year, Livingston is 48-for-116 (.414) from behind-the-arc, converting at least one three-pointer in all but one contest this year, including a career-high six at Detroit earlier this season. Among Horizon League players, Livingston ranks second with her .414 clip from behind-the-arc and ranks sixth averaging 2.2 three-pointers per game.
ABSHAW AMONG CSU FRESHMEN
Following her 20-point performance against Milwaukee last time out, Ashanti Abshaw eclipsed the 350-point mark for the season, becoming the first freshman/redshirt freshman under head coach Kate Peterson Abiad to achieve the feat, and just the second freshmen/redshirt freshmen to post at least 300 points on their rookie campaigns under Peterson Abiad. Abshaw enters Saturday's game with 353 total points this season and leads the team and ranks fifth among league players averaging 16.0 points per game. She has notched double-digit points in all but one game this year, including six 20-point performances.
…ABSHAW ON THE GLASS
Ashanti Abshaw has also been Cleveland State's top rebounder this season, posting 201 total rebounds, averaging 9.1 boards per game to rank second among Horizon League players. Abshaw is the first freshman/redshirt freshman under Kate Peterson Abiad to record at least 200 rebounds during their rookie campaigns, entering Saturday's game with 201 total boards this season. Abshaw has posted double-digit rebounds eight times this season, including a pair of back-to-back 17-rebound performances against Oakland and Milwaukee last time out.
