CLEVELAND STATE IN THE HORIZON LEAGUE TOURNAMENT
Under head coach Kate Peterson Abiad, the Vikings own an 11-9 record in Horizon League Tournament play, and have captured the Horizon League title twice (2008 & 2010). Cleveland State has been a top-four seed five times during Peterson Abiad's tenure, including a No. 3 seed during the 2008-09 and 2010-11 seasons.

…VIKINGS IN SEMIFINAL ACTION
Over the past 12 seasons the Vikings have now advanced to the Horizon League Semifinals five times, but Friday's semifinal contest will mark the first time that CSU has made it this far in the Horizon League Tournament since the 2010-11 season. During this stretch CSU owns a 2-2 record in semifinal games, with the two wins coming during the 2007-08 and 2009-10 seasons - both years in which CSU went on to capture the Horizon League Title.

VIKINGS FINISH REGULAR SEASON WITH 10-6 LEAGUE  MARK
Cleveland State had its best finish in Horizon League regular season play over the past four seasons this year, as the Vikings finished the regular season slate with a 10-6 mark against league opponents. This marked the fifth time under Kate Peterson Abiad that the Vikings finished with double-digit wins in league play, while Cleveland State is just one of three league teams to finish with at least 10 wins this season (Green Bay & Wright State).

CLEVELAND STATE CHASING WIN #20
The Vikings enter Friday's contest chasing their 20th win of the season - owning a 19-11 record after their first 30 contests. If Cleveland State is able to pick up a win in Friday's semifinal, it would be just the third time in program history that the Vikings have reached the 20-win mark and the second time under head coach Kate Peterson Abiad (2010-11). Cleveland State would also become the fourth Horizon League team to reach the 20-win plateau this season, joining Green Bay, Wright State, and Youngstown State.

COLEMAN EARNS FIRST TEAM ALL-LEAGUE HONORS
Senior Cori Coleman picked up postseason honors for the first time in her career earlier this week, as she was named to the All-League First Team. Coleman finished the regular season ranked in the top-10 in six Horizon League statistical categories, while also ranking in the top-15 in two others. She averaged a team-high 16.1 points per game, while also averaging 6.5 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game. Entering the semifinals, Coleman ranks sixth on the CSU Career scoring chart with 1,549 points, while she also ranks 23rd all-time among Horizon League players with this mark. Coleman is the 10th Viking to earn All-League First Team honors, and the seventh to do so under Kate Peterson Abiad.

GORDON EARNS SECOND TEAM ALL-LEAGUE HONORS
Senior Imani Gordon also picked up postseason honors from the Horizon League, as she was named to the All-League Second Team. Entering the tournament, Gordon is averaging 16.0 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game, while she was Cleveland State's top scorer during 11 contests this season and CSU's top rebounder during seven games. Gordon is the second Viking to earn All-League Second Team honors under Kate Peterson Abiad, while she is also the fifth Viking to earn postseason honors multiple times during her tenure.

VIKINGS SET SINGLE-SEASON HOME WIN MARK
After recording a 76-70 victory over UIC in the Horizon League Quarterfinals last time out, Cleveland State set a program record for single-season home wins, as the Vikings currently stand at 14-2 at home this season. The 2014-15 squad is just the seventh team in program history to post double-digit wins at home, while they are tied for most homecourt victories among league teams this season (Wright State).

GORDON ON THE OFFENSIVE END
Last time out, Imani Gordon recorded a season-high 27 points, marking her ninth 20-point game of the season and her fourth over the last six games. Following her 27-point performance against the Flames, Gordon is now averaging a team-best 16.3 points per game, a mark that ranks her fifth among Horizon League players. Over the past six games Gordon has been averaging 18.7 points per game, shooting 48-percent from the floor (38-for-79), and has been CSU's top scorer four times.

ECKLES FROM THE FIELD
Alexis Eckles has been Cleveland State's most efficient shooter this season, ranking second among Horizon League players with a .514 clip from the field (125-for-243). In the quarterfinal contest against UIC, Eckles was 6-for-7 from the field, recording a season-high .857 clip. Through 30 games this season, she has shot 60-percent or better nine times, while she is averaging 9.4 points per game.

…ECKLES ON THE BLOCK
Alexis Eckles continues to add to her season blocked shot total, entering the tournament ranked eighth in the CSU Single-Season record book with 46 blocks. Eckles, who ranks third among Horizon League players averaging 1.5 blocked shots per game, needs just one more block to move into seventh on the single-season list. In addition, Eckles also has the highest amount of career blocks out of all current Vikings - achieving the mark in just one season of play.

SENIOR LEADERSHIP
The Cleveland State senior trio of Cori Coleman (479 pts), Imani Gordon (490), and Kiersten Green (379) has combined for 1,348 of CSU's 2,111 points so far this season - accounting for 64-percent of CSU's offense. All three seniors are ranked in the top-15 on the CSU career scoring list, Coleman ranking sixth with 1,549 points, Gordon ranking 10th (1,298), and Green ranking 12th (1,235). This trio represents the first time in program history that three Vikings on the same roster have recorded 1,000 career points and will finish their careers as the highest scoring senior class under Kate Peterson Abiad (averaging 11.4 ppg).

VIKINGS IN CLOSE GAMES
Through 30 games so far this season for the Vikings, 19 have been decided by eight points or less, including eight in Horizon League regular season play. Cleveland State owns a 14-5 record when games are decided by eight points or less this season, including an 8-2 mark against league opponents. In the 14 wins, CSU has outscored its opponents 179-143 over the last five minutes of the contest, including a 86-for-114 performance from the free throw line.

GORDON IN THE CSU RECORD BOOK
Entering the Horizon League Semifinals, senior Imani Gordon has etched her name in the Cleveland State career record book multiple times - including becoming the fifth Viking all-time with 1,250 career points and 700 career rebounds. Gordon ranks 10th on the CSU career scoring list with 1,298 points, eighth with 744 career rebounds, third with 505 defensive boards, fifth with 239 offensive rebounds, and third with 394 made free throws.

GREEN SETS SINGLE-SEASON THREE-POINT RECORD
Senior Kiersten Green continues to add to her record-setting three-point total, entering the Horizon League Semifinals with a program-best 80 made three-pointers on the season. Green broke the previous single-season record of 67 at Milwaukee (Feb. 28) earlier this season, and has been Cleveland State's top three-point shooter this year, leading the league and ranking 33rd nationally, averaging 2.7 three-pointers per game.

…COLEMAN SETS CAREER THREE-POINT RECORD
Following her five three-pointers at Wright State earlier this season (Jan. 24), Cori Coleman became the all-time leading three-point shooter in Cleveland State history, entering Friday's contest with 211 career three-pointers. Coleman broke the previous record of 190 which was set by Erika Roudebush (1999-03).
