INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The senior duo of Cori Coleman and Imani Gordon represented Cleveland State on the 2015 Horizon League Women's Basketball Postseason Awards Monday afternoon, as Coleman was named to the All-League First Team and Gordon earned a spot on the All-League Second Team.

The Horizon League postseason awards are voted on by the league's head coaches, sports information directors, and select media members.

Coleman picked up postseason honors for the first time in her career, earning a spot on the All-League First Team after leading Cleveland State with 16.1 points per game. Coleman also averaged 6.5 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game throughout the regular season, and shot 43-percent from the field including a .354 clip from three-point.

Coleman finished the regular season ranked in the top-10 in six Horizon League statistical categories – scoring (5th), free throw percentage (4th), steals (4th), three-point field goals made (4th), offensive rebounds (4th) and three-point field goal percentage (10th) – while also ranking in the top-15 in two others.

Entering the Horizon League Tournament, Coleman ranks fifth on the CSU Career scoring chart with 1,537 points, while she also ranks 23rd all-time among Horizon League players with this mark.

Earlier this season Coleman became the all-time three-point shooter in Cleveland State history, entering the Horizon League Tournament with 209 three-pointers on her career. She also ranks among the top-10 in six other categories in the CSU Career Record Book.

Coleman is the 10th Viking to earn All-League First Team honors, and the seventh to do so under head coach Kate Peterson Abiad.

Gordon, who picked up postseason honors for the second straight season, earned a spot on the All-League Second Team after averaging 16.0 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game during the regular season. Gordon was Cleveland State's top scorer during 11 contests this season and CSU's top rebounder during seven games.

Among Horizon League players, Gordon ranks sixth in scoring and 11th in rebounding, while she is just shy of the top-10 in assists.

Earlier this season she became the 26th Viking all-time to record 1,000 career points, and enters the Horizon League Tournament ranked 10th on the CSU career scoring chart with 1,271 points. Gordon also ranks ninth on the CSU career rebounding chart with 738 boards – one of just five Vikings all-time to notch at least 1,250 points and 700 rebounds on their careers.

Gordon is the second Viking to earn All-League Second Team honors under Peterson Abiad, while she is also the fifth Viking to earn postseason honors in multiple years during her tenure.

Coleman and Gordon helped lead the Vikings to a No. 3 seed in the upcoming Horizon League Tournament, as the Vikings will now host sixth-seeded UIC at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11. The winner of Wednesday's quarterfinal matchup will advance to the Horizon League semifinals on Friday, March 13.
