SETTING THE SCENE
The Cleveland State women's basketball team will hit the road for a contest at Wright State Saturday (Jan. 24), as the Vikings are set to take on the Raiders at 2:00 p.m. Entering the contest, CSU stands at 10-7 overall and 2-2 in Horizon League play, while Wright State is 14-5 overall and 3-2 in league action. Saturday will be the 64th meeting between the two teams, with Cleveland State owning a 34-29 advantage in the overall series.

A WIN SATURDAY WOULD…
Give CSU a 35-29 advantage in the overall series against Wright State…Mark Cleveland State's fourth win out of the last five meetings between the two teams…Put the Vikings back above .500 in Horizon League play.

SCOUTING THE RAIDERS
Wright State enters Saturday's contest with a 14-5 overall record and a 3-2 mark in league action…The Raiders have won three of their last four matchups, most recently falling at Youngstown State (75-70)…WSU leads the league in multiple statistical categories, including scoring offense (76.5 ppg), scoring margin (+14.9), rebounding (46.5 rpg), and turnover margin (+5.6)…Tay'ler Mingo leads all league players averaging 23.5 points per game, while also leading the league in assists (4.9) and steals (3.6)…Tayler Stanton is one of just two league players to average double-digit rebounds this season, ranking second among league players averaging 10.8 boards per game.

LAST TIME OUT
The Vikings dropped a hard fought contest against league-leading Green Bay Thursday evening, falling to the Phoenix, 65-61. CSU was able to hold Green Bay within a manageable distance throughout the entire contest, coming up just short in the final minutes. Once again the senior trio (Cori Coleman, Imani Gordon, Kiersten Green) led the Vikings offensively, recording 49 of CSU's 61 points. 

GORDON NOTCHES 20-POINT PERFORMANCE
Imani Gordon posted her third 20-point game of the season last time out, recording exactly 20 points against Green Bay. Gordon, who notched 16 of her 20 points during the second half, was 6-for-11 from the field and 8-for-10 from the free throw line. In Horizon League games only, Gordon is averaging 19.0 points per game, a mark that ranks her third among league players.

VIKINGS IN CLOSE GAMES
Throughout 17 games so far this season for the Vikings, 12 have been decided by eight points or less, including Thursday's contest against Green Bay which was just a four-point game at the final buzzer. Cleveland State owns an 8-4 record when games are decided by eight points or less this season, including a 2-1 mark in Horizon League play.

COLEMAN CLOSING IN ON THREE-POINT RECORD
Cori Coleman is closing in on the Cleveland State career three-point record, entering Saturday's contest with 186 career three-pointers, just five shy of breaking the current record of 190 which is held by Erika Roudebush (1999-03). Coleman has 34 three-pointers so far this season, and ranks third among Horizon League players averaging 2.0 three-pointers per game. Coleman would become the first current Viking to own a CSU career record.

…GREEN CRACKS THREE-POINT TOP-10 LIST
Following her four three-pointers that she recorded against Green Bay last time out, Kiersten Green cracked the career three-point top-10 list, entering Saturday's game ranked ninth with 131 career three-pointers. Green has notched four or more three-pointers during six contests this season, and has a team-leading 40 converted shots from behind-the-arc.

SENIOR LEADERSHIP
The Cleveland State senior trio of Cori Coleman (280 pts), Imani Gordon (273), and Kiersten Green (213) has combined for 766 of CSU's 1,217 points so far this season - accounting for 62-percent of CSU's offense. All three seniors are averaging double-digit points so far this season, while they have also combined for a .435 clip from the floor (258-for-593).

ECKLES ON THE BLOCK
Alexis Eckles has been Cleveland State's top shot blocker this season, as she currently ranks second in the Horizon League averaging 1.6 blocked shots per game. Eckles, who has 28 blocked shots on the season, is just eight blocked shots shy of cracking the CSU single-season record list. In addition, with just three more blocks, Eckles will have the highest amount of career blocks out of all the current Vikings - achieving the mark in just one season of play.

COLEMAN EARNS 100TH START IN A VIKING UNIFORM
Thursday's game against the Phoenix marked a milestone for senior Cori Coleman, as she picked up her 100th start in a Viking uniform. Coleman, who ranks fifth on the games started list in the CSU record book, has started all but six games in her career. Not only has Coleman been an integral part of the starting lineup throughout the her career, but she has also played valuable minutes for the Vikings, playing 3,580 out of a total 4,265 minutes (85%) over her four years.

GORDON CRACKS TOP-20 SCORING LIST
Following her 18-point performance against Detroit last weekend (Jan. 17), Imani Gordon cracked the CSU career scoring list, and enters Saturday's game ranked 20th all-time with 1,081 points. Gordon joins classmate Cori Coleman (9th - 1,350) on the career scoring list, and is 17 points shy of moving into 19th place on the list. Gordon is now one of 15 Vikings all-time to rank in the top-20 in both scoring and rebounding.

…GORDON ON THE REBOUNDING CHARTS
Senior Imani Gordon continues to improve her standing on the Cleveland State career rebounding charts - entering Saturday's contest ranked 13th with 652 total rebounds, sixth with 442 defensive rebounds, and  ninth with 210 offensive boards. So far this season Gordon is averaging 6.6 rebounds per game, and has recorded double-digit rebounds three times (Ohio, Morehead State & Florida Atlantic).

COLEMAN CLOSING IN ON 1,300 POINTS, 200 ASSISTS, 200 STEALS
With just seven more steals, Cori Coleman would become the fourth Viking all-time with 1,300 points, 200 assists, and 200 steals on their career. Coleman, who enters Saturday's contest with 1,350 points, 206 assists, and 193 steals, would join Viking greats Audra Cook (1996-00), Mahogany Green (1997-01), and Shawnita Garland (2007-11) in the exclusive club. Coleman would also become one of just two current Horizon League players to achieve the feat (Tay'ler Mingo, Wright State).
