DOUBLE THE FUN
Saturday will mark the final doubleheader for the Cleveland State basketball programs this season, as the men's team will host Green Bay following the women's contest. Over the past six years CSU has notched 16 sweeps in 24 twinbills, as the women own a record of 19-5 in doubleheaders and the men are 20-4.
CSU WINS FOUR STRAIGHT
Thursday's victory over Valparaiso marked the fourth straight win for the Vikings, as they enter Saturday's contest with a 7-3 record over their last 10 games. During this stretch, CSU is averaging 80.3 points per game, and is shooting 44-percent from the floor. The victory over the Crusaders also put CSU into second place in the league standings, as they stand alone with a 7-3 league mark.
COLEMAN CLOSING IN ON 1,000 CAREER POINTS
Following her 18th double-digit point performance of the season last time out, Cori Coleman now has 973 career points. Coleman, who needs just 27 more points (an average of 4.5 ppg) to become the 24th Viking to record 1,000 points on their career, ranks ninth in the league averaging 15.4 points per game this season.
…COLEMAN ON THE 3-POINT TOP-10 LIST
A large portion of Coleman's points have come from behind-the-arc this season, as she has now tallied multiple three-pointers in the last six games - and eight of the last nine. Coleman enters Saturday's contest ranked seventh on the CSU career three-point list with 137 converted shots from behind-the-arc, needing just twp more three-pointers to move into sixth place. For the year, Coleman ranks fourth among league players averaging 2.3 three-pointers per game.
VOSKUHL CRASHING THE BOARDS
Freshman Olivia Voskuhl, who picked up her second collegiate start against Valparaiso, had another solid performance for the Vikings, as she grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds. Voskuhl is the fourth Viking to record a double-digit rebound game this season, and came into the week averaging just 2.5 boards per game. Voskuhl also posted nine points, two assists, and a steal against the Crusaders.
VIKINGS SHARING THE BALL
For the second straight game the Vikings tallied 20 assists, as they recorded 21 helpers on their 29 made field goals against Valparaiso. CSU also tallied 22 against Wright State last weekend. Against the Crusaders, Kiersten Green tallied six assists, while Imani Gordon and Cori Coleman each added five. Through the first 23 games, CSU ranks fourth in the league averaging 14.8 assists per game.
VIKINGS ON FIRE FROM BEHIND-THE-ARC
After posting a season-best mark from three-point against Wright State last Saturday (16), the Vikings did that one better against Valparaiso, as they converted 17 shots from behind-the-arc. The 17 three-pointers ties the CSU single game record, and marks a season-high among Horizon League teams. Through the first 23 games, CSU has tallied 10 or more three-pointers in 12 games, and leads the league averaging 9.2 per contest.
…CSU CRACKS 3-POINT SINGLE-SEASON LIST
Following the 17 three-pointers that the Vikings posted against Valparaiso, the 2013-14 team now ranks fourth on the single season three-point list with 212. This season's team is just the fifth team in program history to knock down 200 or more three-pointers in a single season, and is just three baskets shy of moving into third place on the list.
AIDEYMAN NAMED HORIZON LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
For the second straight week a Viking was honored by the Horizon League, as Adesuwa Aideyman was named Player of the Week on Monday (Feb. 10). Aideyman tallied a career-high 23 points in the win over Wright State, going 7-for-10 from the field and 5-for-6 from three-point. She also added three rebounds, three assists, and a steal against the Raiders.
GORDON IN LEAGUE GAMES ONLY

Gordon has been CSU's top scorer during four league contests, and CSU's top rebounder during nine contests. Through the first 10 league games, Gordon has five double-doubles and five 20+ point games.
…GORDON REACHES 300 POINTS & 200 REBOUNDS
Following her 20-point, nine-rebound performance against Wright State last weekend, Imani Gordon eclipsed 300 points and 200 rebounds for the season - just the sixth player to do so under head coach Kate Peterson Abiad. Entering Saturday's contest, Gordon has a team-high 393 points and a team-high 215 rebounds.
CSU CONTINUES TO LEAD LEAGUE IN SHOOTING EFFICIENCY
After 14 weeks of play, the Vikings continue to lead the Horizon League with a .433 field goal percentage and a .366 three-point field goal percentage. If the season were to end right now, the .366 clip from behind-the-arc would be a program best, while the .433 clip from the field would rank third in the single season record book.
