SETTING THE SCENE
The Cleveland State women's basketball team will close out the 2013 calendar year this weekend, traveling to Miami University for a 1:00 p.m. contest on Sunday, December 29. Entering Sunday's contest the Vikings stand at 5-6 on the year, while the RedHawks are 3-7. Sunday's game will mark the ninth meeting between the two teams, with Miami owning a 7-1 overall series advantage. Cleveland State's lone victory came last season - as the Vikings earned an 87-75 win over the RedHawks in Cleveland.
LAST TIME OUT
The Vikings fell to undefeated Indiana, 107-73. Indiana held the advantage for almost the entire contest, as CSU was only able to tie the game once early on in the first half.
