CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State women's basketball freshman Khayla Livingston was honored by the Horizon League Monday afternoon, earning Horizon League Freshman of the Week accolades. Livingston helped the Vikings earn a 76-64 victory over Ohio University last week, as CSU improved to 4-4 on the young season.
Livingston notched a career-best nine points against the Bobcats, including a 2-for-4 performance from the field and a career-high 5-for-6 effort from the free throw line. The Hollywood, Florida native also notched three assists, two rebounds and one steal on the night.
After the first eight games of the season, Livingston is averaging 3.0 points per game, 1.6 rebounds per game, and 1.6 assists per game. She also leads the freshman class averaging 13.9 minutes played per contest.
