SETTING THE SCENE
The Cleveland State women's basketball team will continue its four-game homestand Sunday afternoon (November 17), hosting the Eastern Michigan Eagles. Entering the contest, CSU stands at 1-1 on the young season, while the Eagles are 2-0. Sunday's contest will be the 14th meeting between the two teams, with Eastern Michigan owning a 9-4 advantage. The last time the two teams met was during the 2009-10 season, when EMU picked up a 73-61 victory.
LAST TIME OUT
The Vikings earned their first victory of the 2013-14 season Thursday evening (Nov. 14), posting a 76-48 victory over Lake Erie College. CSU had five players score in double-digits, led by Kiersten Green with 16. CSU shot 43-percent from the floor (26-60) against the Storm, including a .500 clip from three-point (8-16).

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Eastern Michigan enters Sunday's contest with a perfect 2-0 record on the year, picking up wins over Madonna and Butler. Olivia Fouty has led the Eagles through the first two contests, averaging 15.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. EMU also has three other players averaging double-digit points; Janay Morton (16.0), Cha Sweeney (15.0), and Desyree Thomas (12.5). As a team, EMU is averaging 91.0 points per game so far this season and is shooting 41-percent from the floor (68-163). The Eagles have outrebounded their first two opponents by an average of 12.5 boards per game, and have 115 total rebounds on the season.
VOSKUHL STELLAR AGAINST STORM
Freshman Olivia Voskuhl was one of five Vikings to post double-digit points against Lake Erie (Nov. 14), recording 12 points off the bench in 22 minutes played. Voskuhl was a perfect 3-for-3 from behind the arc, and 3-for-4 from the free throw line, while also adding two rebounds and three steals.
COLEMAN FLIRTS WITH TRIPLE-DOUBLE
Cori Coleman flirted with a triple-double Thursday evening, recording 14 points, seven rebounds and seven steals against the Storm. Coleman, who marked a career-high with the seven steals, notched the 33rd double-digit scoring game of her career and is now averaging 11.5 points per game on the season.
VIKINGS FROM BEHIND THE ARC
Through the first two games of the season, CSU has a league-best .462 three-point field goal percentage, hitting 18 of its 39 attempts. Individually, the Vikings have three players ranked in the top-five in three-point field goal percentage, including Olivia Voskuhl who leads the league with a .800 clip from behind the arc. Cleveland State also has two players ranked in the top-10 in three-point field goals made - Kiersten Green who leads the category averaging 3.0 three-point field goals per game, and Voskuhl who is averaging 2.0 per game to rank sixth.
WOLSTEIN CENTER STEALS RECORD
As a team, Cleveland State tallied 27 steals against Lake Erie - marking a Wolstein Center record. The 27 steals ranks second in program history, behind 28-steal performances during the 1983-84 and 1980-81 seasons. Nine Vikings tallied steals against the Storm, including five that notched three or more (Coleman 7, Gordon 4, Schmitt 3, Smith 3, Voskuhl 3).
GREEN TALLIES CAREER-HIGH AT BUTLER
Kiersten Green tallied a career-high 28 points in the season opener against Butler (Nov. 8), leading the Vikings with the second 20-point performance of her career. Green's 28 points against the Bulldogs is the third highest single game total among Horizon League players this season, while it is also one of ten 20-point performances among league players.
COLEMAN NAMED PRESEASON ALL-LEAGUE
Junior Cori Coleman was named to the 2013-14 Preseason All-Horizon League Second Team in voting conducted by the league's nine head coaches, sports information directors and select media. Coleman's selection to the preseason team marked her first Horizon League honor and the eighth straight year that a Viking has earned preseason recognition. Among Horizon League returners, Coleman finished the 2012-13 season ranked third in field goal percentage (.428) and steals (1.8), fifth in scoring (12.5), sixth in three-point field goal percentage (.365), and seventh in three-point field goals made (1.8).

The Vikings will return to the court next Saturday (November 23), hosting Florida Atlantic at 1:00 p.m. Saturday's game will be part of a doubleheader with the CSU men's team - as they will host Robert Morris at 3:00 p.m.
