SETTING THE SCENE
The Vikings will continue their roadswing this Saturday (Feb. 2), traveling to Valparaiso for a 2:35 p.m. EST contest. Saturday's game will mark the second of five road games for CSU in the next three weeks and will be the first match up against the Crusaders this season. Both teams have a matching 2-4 record in league play entering the weekend, tied for fifth place in the Horizon League standings.

A WIN SATURDAY WOULD...
Mark the sixth victory for CSU out of the past seven contests against the Crusaders...Mark the Vikings' sixth straight win in Valparaiso, Ind. ...Improve CSU's league record to 3-4.

SCOUTING THE CRUSADERS
Valparaiso enters Saturday's contest on a two-game losing skid, falling to Green Bay and Wright State in its last two contests...Overall this season, Valparaiso is 7-12, while they stand at 2-4 in league play...The Crusaders rank second in free throw percentage (.718) and third in rebounding (38.8 rpg) in the league...Tabitha Gerardot, who leads Valpo in scoring and rebounding, ranks seventh (14.3 ppg) and fifth (8.4), respectively, in the league statistics...Gina Lange ranks second in field goal percentage (.532), converting 66 of her 124 shot attempts this season, while Charae Richardson ranks second in free throw percentage (.844).

GREEN RECORDS CAREER-HIGH AT DETROIT
With a 10-for-14 performance from the floor, Kiersten Green tallied a career-high 25 points at Detroit, including a career-best four three-pointers. Thursday marked the first 20-point game of Green's career, making her the third Viking to reach 20 points in at least one contest this season. Green has a team-best .455 field goal percentage, which also ranks eighth in the Horizon League.

COLEMAN NOTCHES FIRST DOUBLE-DOUBLE
Cori Coleman notched the first double-double of her career at Detroit on Thursday, posting 19 points and 10 rebounds. Coleman, who led the Vikings in rebounds against the Titans, is one of four players to tally a double-double this season for CSU.

THREE VIKINGS AVERAGE DOUBLE-DIGIT POINTS
Following her 25-point performance against Detroit, Kiersten Green is now averaging double-digit points on the year - making her the third Viking to do so this season. Green (10.3 ppg) joins Cori Coleman (12.7) and Shalonda Winton (21.7) - making CSU one of five Horizon League schools to have three or more players averaging double-digit points.

WINTON ON THE REBOUNDING CHARTS
Shalonda Winton posted nine rebounds against Detroit on Thursday, and enters the weekend ranking second on the all-time rebound list at CSU with 967 boards. Winton, who ranks second in the league averaging 10.7 rebounds per game, is now 64 boards shy of becoming the all-time leader at Cleveland State. With at least 10 games left in the 2012-13 season, Winton needs to average 6.5 rebounds per contest to become the all-time leader at CSU.

...CLOSING IN ON 1,500 POINTS & 1,000 REBOUNDS
Shalonda Winton is also closing in on becoming just the second player in program history to notch 1,500 points and 1,000 rebounds on their career, entering Saturday's contest with 1,593 points and 967 rebounds. With 33 more boards, Winton would join Audra Cook (1,805 pts & 1,030 rbs) as the only Vikings to reach the milestone and would join Youngstown State's Brandi Brown (2009-prs.) and Milwaukee's Traci Edwards (2006-09) as the only league players to achieve the mark.

IN LEAGUE GAMES ONLY...
Cleveland State ranks second in scoring offense, averaging 66.5 points per game and second in offensive rebounds with 14.0 per contest...Shalonda Winton leads the league averaging 21.7 points per game and ranks second averaging 10.5 rebounds per game...Kiersten Green ranks fourth with a .450 three-point percentage.
