CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State men's tennis team closed out its fall campaign this weekend, hosting the Green & White Invitational at the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.
Cleveland State's Carl Gedlitschka was named to the All-Tournament Team after going 3-0 on the weekend.
"This was a good ending to our fall schedule, we had a great weekend on the courts, highlighted by Carl who went undefeated in singles play," head coach Brian Etzkin said. "I think we put together a tough fall schedule, and overall we had great outings every time we were on the courts. We continued to grow each time out, and I'm excited to see where this team is at come the spring season."
Also picking up singles wins on the weekend were Raul Teichmann, Alan Matyjas, Cole Chappell, Austin Staiger, and Andrew Zimcosky.
The Vikings picked up eight doubles wins on the weekend, including a 3-0 weekend from Ty Rothchild and Staiger, and a pair of wins from Teichmann and Zimcosky.
