Cleveland State Men’s Tennis Set To Host Green & White Invitational

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State men's tennis team will close out its 2022 fall campaign this weekend, hosting the Green & White Invitational inside the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion on Saturday, November 5 and Sunday, November 6. 

In addition to the Vikings, Duquesne, Wayne State, Tiffin, and Niagara will also be competing. 

The Green & White Invitational will use a pod format for singles, with each player competing twice in their pod, and then moving pods depending on results for the third round. A similar pod format will also be used for doubles.  

Green & White Invitational Schedule
Saturday: Two Rounds of Singles
Sunday: Three Rounds of Doubles, One Round of Singles 

SATURDAY POD ASSIGNMENTS | SUNDAY POD ASSIGNMENTS

There will be an All-Tournament Team named at the conclusion of the two-day event. 

This will be the sixth tournament of the fall season for the Vikings, and the first time that Cleveland State is hosting two tournaments during the fall campaign.  

Last weekend, Cleveland State hosted the sixth annual Viking Invitational, with Mikael Erler capturing the Main Draw Singles Title.
