COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Cleveland State men's tennis team continued play at the ITA Midwest Regional Friday, with Nico Mostardi competing in the Main Singles Draw and three doubles teams participating in the Main Doubles Draw.

Although Mostardi was able to earn a No. 23 seed in the Main Singles Draw, he wasn't able to pick up a win during the opening round, as he fell to Matt Gamble of Notre Dame, 6-3, 6-2.

Cleveland State's three doubles teams were also unsuccessful during the opening round of play, as the duo of Mostardi and Andre Mick had the best showing in an 8-5 loss to a Detroit tandem.
