2010-11 - JUNIOR SEASON

2010-11 Horizon League `Swimmer of the Year'...continued his streak of perfection at the Horizon League Championships, winning three events to improve his record at the Horizon League Championships to 9-0...took first in the 500 free (4:24.95), the 1,000 free (9:06.34) and 1,650 free (15:23.93) to earn `Co-Performer of the Meet'... qualified for the finals at the USA Swimming National Champiomshps in the 1,650 free...went undefeated in four league dual meets...had top times in the Horizon League in the 400 IM (4:00.89), 500 free (4:24.95), 1,000 free (9:06.34) and 1,650 free (15:23.90)...swam third fastest 200 IM (1:52.99) on the Viking team, a time that was also a new personal best after not swimming the event as a sophomore...his 500 free was five seconds faster at the end of the 2010-11 than it was at the end of his sophomore season... earned league `Swimmer of the Week' honors twice...honorable mention Mid-Major All-American by CollegeSwimming.com.

2009-10 - SOPHOMORE SEASON

Won 21 races, including the 500 free six times, the 1,000 free seven times, the 1,650 free twice, the 200 fly four times and the 400 IM twice...set three personal records in the 200 fly (1:49.12), 200 breast (2:11.50) and 400 IM (3:53.91)...finished with his best times in the 1,650 free and 400 IM at the Horizon League Championship while winning both events...also won the 1,000 free.

2008-09 - FRESHMAN SEASON

Became one of the best distance swimmers in CSU and Horizon League history after just one year with the program...won 32 races, including 11 wins in the 1,000 free and 10 wins in the 500 free...won all three of his individual swims at the Horizon League Championships with titles in the 500 free (4:26.00), 1,000 free (9:08.01) and 1,650 free (15:02.06, NCAA "B" cut) and was unanimously selected as the league's Swimmer of the Meet, Swimmer of the Year and Newcomer of the Year after leading the meet in points scored (60)...both the 1,000 and 1,650 times were league and CSU records...swam the team's fastest 500 free and the second-fastest time in school history (4:26.00) on Feb. 26...team's fastest and the second-fastest time in school history in the 400 IM (3:57.41) on Feb. 6...swam fourth-fastest time in school history and team's fastest time in the 200 fly (1:50.16) on Feb. 7...swam team's fastest time of the season and the fifth-fastest time in school history in the 200 free (1:40.08) on Dec. 5...five-time Horizon League Athlete of the Week.

HIGH SCHOOL

Member of South Africa's Open Water team...attended Westville Boys High and Northdene Preparatory.
