Philipp Sikatzki is in his first season as an assistant coach with Cleveland State after leaving as the most decorated athlete in program history.

The only First Team All-American in program history, Sikatzki competed in the NCAA Championships in his final two seasons at CSU. He was named the Horizon League Men's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Year in both his junior and seniors seasons, becoming the first individual in League history to win Men's Athlete of the Year in consecutive seasons.

Sikatzki finished in fourth place in the 100 butterfly at the 2016 NCAA Championships, in a school record time of 45.37 seconds, to earn his All-America accolade. He won eight individual Horizon League titles in his three seasons as a Viking and departed as the owner of school records in five individual events. Along with his teammates, he also held school records in four different relay disciplines when his collegiate career concluded.
