2017-18 – JUNIOR SEASON
Posted three top-six individual finishes at Horizon League Championships, including a pair of top-three efforts … Was third in 200 freestyle at League meet in 1:37.77, a NCAA ‘B’ qualifying standard … Also took third in 100 freestyle in new personal best 44.64 seconds … Swam lead leg of 800 freestyle relay team that won League Championship and broke school record in 6:32.96 … CSU was seeded fourth entering the 800 free relay … Placed sixth at League meet in 500 freestyle (4:28.70) … Swam lead leg of 400 freestyle relay and anchor leg of 400 medley relay at HL meet … Won 100 and 200 freestyle at Magnus Cup and also swam on two winning relays … Was named HL Swimmer of the Week twice by League office and twice by CollegeSwimming … Also won 100 and 200 free at Justin Jennings Memorial Invitational … Won nine individual dual meet races … Swam in six traditional events during season, adding 100 back and 200 IM to his freestyle events … Named Scholar All-America Honorable Mention by the CSCAA.

Won four NJCAA national titles in spring 2017, three as a relay member and also claimed the 50 backstroke … Was the national runner-up in the 200 free in 1:37.63 and also took second in the 500 free and the 200 back at the NJCAA meet in 2017 … Left as the NJCAA record-holder in the 1000 freestyle … Won five national titles, including three individual first-place finishes, at the NJCAA Championships in 2016, including being a member of the record-breaking 800 free relay team … Claimed 2016 NJCAA titles in 200, 500 and 1000 freestyle … Helped Indian River State win NJCAA team championships in both of his seasons on the team … Posted a time of 4:25.10 in the 500 free during 2016-17 season … Swam at the South African Senior Nationals in 2015 and contributed three top-10 finishes, including two top-five finishes, across short course and long course events … Competed with Tygerberg Aquatics on club scene … Named a CSCAA Scholar All-American in 2016 … Has two years of eligibility with CSU.
