CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State University men's and women's swimming and diving teams continue dual action against Horizon League foes this weekend as both programs travel to Wright State Saturday, Jan. 21.

The meet is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. and live video will be available on ESPN3 by clicking here. An order of events for the meet is listed at the bottom of this article.

Both CSU programs enter this meet coming off victories, albeit against different opponents. The Viking men eked out a narrow win in their League dual opener, claiming a victory at UIC in a meet that came down to the final event. The Cleveland State women lost at UIC but rebounded two days later by knocking off Youngstown State at home.

Cleveland State has won five of the past six duals against Wright State on the men's side, including claiming a 176-124 victory one year ago. The CSU women are 3-3 against the Raiders over the same time frame but dropped a tight, 158-142, decision last season.

Senior Philipp Sikatzki won three individual events to help lead Cleveland State to the victory at UIC and was subsequently named Horizon League Swimmer of the Week by CollegeSwimming. Sophomore Tommi Wolst won two events at UIC (100 backstroke, 200 IM) while freshman DJ Arslanian (200 butterfly) and junior Patrick Tippen (100 breaststroke) also won events. The Vikings continue to hold 18 entries among the top five times in the League this season entering the weekend.

After falling at UIC Saturday, the Cleveland State women came back to win 11 of 14 swimming events against the Penguins. Six CSU swimmers and one diver won events in Monday's meet. Sophomore Molly McNamara swept the butterfly events against both UIC and YSU while senior Tori Taffner won three of the four diving events across the two meets and was subsequently named Horizon League Diver of the Week. Freshman Meghan Bobick won both the 100 and 200 freestyle against YSU while junior Tobie Zeller swept the breaststroke events.

Wright State enters the meet having not competed since the first week of December. The Raiders have not contested a dual meet since the first week of November. The WSU men own a 6-4 dual mark and a 3-2 record in League duals, owning wins over Valparaiso, Green Bay and Milwaukee. The Wright State women are 4-7 on the season and 1-4 against League foes as they defeated Valparaiso on the first weekend of the season.

Cleveland State returns home next weekend for its final Horizon League dual as it hosts defending champion Oakland Friday, Jan. 27.
