Played mostly defender and midfielder for Belvedere and Colaiste Ide...was a teammate of fellow newcomer Cormac Finn at Colaiste Ide...over a seven-year span from 1995-2002, he helped his team to four league championships, two league cup titles, and one All-Ireland championship...also helped his team to a league runner-up finish in 2001...was named team player of the year with Belvedere three times.
