Cleveland State Men's Soccer Collects Three Special Awards and Five All-League Honors

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Cleveland State University men's soccer received three Horizon League special awards as Bojan Kolevski was named Player of the Year along with Offensive Player of the Year, and Sinisa Ubiparipovic earned Coach of the Year honors.

The Vikings also had three named All-League First Team, two on the All-League Second Team, and one on the All-Freshman Team.

SINISA UBIPARIPOVIC | COACH OF THE YEAR | FOURTH SEASON
Ubiparipovic garnered his first Coach of the Year honor after leading Cleveland State to their first Horizon League Regular Season Championship. The Green and White finished the regular season with a 9-3-5 overall record and a 5-1-3 Horizon League record. The Vikings were 4-1-3 on their home field and for a second straight season didn't lose a league game on it.

BOJAN KOLEVSKI | PLAYER OF THE YEAR | OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR | FIRST TEAM ALL-LEAGUE
Kolevski, a junior from Skopje, North Macedonia, became the fourth player in program history to be named Player of the Year, and the second straight season that a Viking earned this honor. Kolevski also earned his second straight Offensive Player of the Year recognition.  The three-time All-Horizon League honoree, started all 17 games, scoring eight goals and adding three assists for 19 points. His goals and point totals were tops on the team and second in the league. This season, Kolevski earned one Player of the Week award.

PABLO KAWECKI | FIRST TEAM ALL-LEAGUE
Kawecki, a senior from Alcobendas, Spain, earned All-League honors for the second straight season. Kawecki started all 17 games in the midfield, scoring seven goals with three assists for 17 points. He led the Horizon League and team in game-winning goals with three. Twice this season, Kawecki tallied multiple goals against Army and Purdue Fort Wayne.

JANNIS SCHMIDT | FIRST TEAM ALL-LEAGUE
Schmidt, a senior from Gensingen, Germany, received his third consecutive All-League honor. Schmidt appeared in 16 contests with 15 starts as a midfielder. He totaled five goals and four assists for 14 points to go along with two game-winners. This season, Schmidt earned two Horizon League Player of the Week awards and was named to the NCAA Team of the Week once. In addition, he had the No. 1 play on ESPN Top 10 plays with his volley at UIC.

HECTOR GOMEZ | SECOND TEAM ALL-LEAGUE
Gomez, a graduate transfer from Columbus, Ohio, earned All-League honors in his first season with the Green and White. Gomez played in all 17 games, starting nine games as a midfielder. He put up two goals and four assists for eight points along with scoring two game-winning goals. His four assists were tops on the team.

UROS JEVTIC | FRESHMAN TEAM | SECOND TEAM ALL-LEAGUE
Jevtic, a freshman from Belgrade, Serbia, was named to the Horizon League All-Freshman team and All-League squad. Jevtic started all 16 games that he appeared in as a central defender, helping the Vikings to six shutouts.
