CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland State University head lacrosse coach Dylan Sheridan announced the addition of Cole Anderson to the program for the 2018-19 academic year.

Won faceoffs at a 76.6% clip as a junior, winning 222 of 290 contested, to earn all-conference honors … Grabbed a school record 192 ground balls last season while also contributing 18 goals and 10 assists … Selected as one of 48 players to watch next season in Virginia by LaxRecords … Had not played lacrosse until freshman year of high school … Won 134 of 205 faceoffs (65.4%) as a sophomore while collecting 121 ground balls … Helped team to conference title and state semifinals as a freshman … Also played football … Competes for Virginia Cavaliers on club circuit … Is a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council Association … Served as a Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership (HOBY) Ambassador … Son on John and Karen Anderson … Has one brother, Collin.

Why CSU?
Cleveland State has a great reputation for both academics and athletics. I was very impressed with the school and the lacrosse program. I also really liked Coach Sheridan and his coaching staff.
