Cleveland State Men’s Golf Wraps Up Play At Joe Feaganes Marshall Invite

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – The Cleveland State men's golf team finished its second tournament of the 2022 fall campaign Tuesday, moving up one spot to finish 11th at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational.

The Vikings were paced by Jack Hanus who finished T17 with scores of 69-75-71 for a three-round total of 215. This marked the second top-20 finish for Cleveland State this fall.

Next up for Cleveland State was Andrew Kaye who finished T32 with a combined score of 218 (78-70-70), while Gunnar McCollins finished T56 with scores of 78-71-73 (222).

Brody Simms and Alex Anderson finished their first tournament as Vikings on Tuesday, Simms placing T67 with rounds of 74-74-76 (224) and Anderson finishing T80 with a three-round score of 227 (76-77-74).

David Laib also competed at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invite, placing T85 playing as an individual with scores of 74-76-78 (228).

The Vikings will be back in action next week at the Valpo Fall Invitational, with action taking place on Monday, September 19 and Tuesday, September 20.
