VERONA, N.Y. -- Junior Zach Robbins fired a 36-hole score of 146 to lead Cleveland State on day one of the Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate on Sunday at the Kaluhyat Course.
Robbins opened tournament play with an even-par 72 and then posted a two-over 74 on his second 18 holes on the day. He posted a 36-hole score of 146 and is tied for 13th place overall.
Led by Robbins, Cleveland State is tied for ninth in the team standings with a total of 614. Nationally-ranked North Carolina leads the field with a score of 553, while defending champion Missouri is second with a score of 570.
Jules Blakely shot rounds of 77-76 over the par-72, 6,803-yard layout at the Kaluhyat Course and is tied for 40th overall.
Freshman Gunnar McCollins had five birdies on the day and carded rounds of 77-77 and is tied for 43rd overall.
Sophomore David Laib opened with an 84 and then rebounded to shoot a 77 in his second round, while freshman Jonny Filler shot rounds of 87-84 and is 85th overall.
