UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. - The Cleveland State men's golf team shot rounds of 310 and 313 and is in 16th place after the opening day of the Seattle U Redhawk Invitational that is being played at the par-71, 7,199-yard Chambers Bay Golf Course, site of the 2015 US Open.
Junior Anton Krecic is tied for 22nd place overall with a 36 hole total of 153. He opened with a 77 this morning and shot a 74 in the afternoon round. Senior Joey Krecic carded roundsof 78-77 and is tied for 44th place at 155, while senior Blake Prince is tied for 61st place at 158 (78-80).
The final round of the tourament will be played on Tuesday morning.
