HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Cleveland State men's golf team opened its spring season on Monday with the first 36 holes of the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate at the par-72 The Wexford Plantation course.
CSU is tied for 14th place overall after rounds of 297 and 306.
Junior Anton Krecic led the Vikings on Monday with a 36 hole total of 146. He opened with a one-under-par 71 and shot a 75 in the afternoon round. Senior Blake Prince is tied for 26th overall following a first round 75 with an even-par 72 in the second round.
Senior Joey Krecic is tied for 67th place (73-82 - 155), while freshman Zak Supelak (79-78 - 157) is tied for 76th and senior Matt McAdoo is tied for 81st at 159 (78-81).
The final round of the event will be played on Tuesday morning.
