BLUFFTON, S.C. - Cleveland State shot rounds of 307 and 306 and is in ninth place out of 11 teams after the opening day of the Colleton River Collegiate.
The 54-hole event, hosted by Michigan State, is being played at the par-72, 7,151-yard Colleton River Club, a Pete Dye Course.
Junior Blake Prince is tied for 12th place with a 36 hole total of 149. He shot a 76 in the morning and followed it with a one-over-par 73 in today's afternoon round.
Senior Patrick Luth is tied for 26th place at 152 (74-78), while sophomore Anton Krecic carded back-to-back rounds of 77 and is tied for 37th place with a 154 total.
The final round of the event will be played on Tuesday.
