CSU In Second After Two Rounds of Red Flash Invitational

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - Cleveland State carded rounds of 288 and 296 and is in second place after the opening two rounds of the Red Flash Invitational that opened on Monday at the par-70, 6,880-yard Sunnehanna C.C.

The Vikings, who were coming off the 54 hole Robert Kepler Invitational in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday and Sunday, did not get to play a practice round yesterday, seeing the course for the first time today.

Michael Balcar led the Vikings with rounds of 72-71 (143) and is in second place overall. He trails Ryan Prokay of Robert Morris who is two shots ahead after shooting 67-74 (141).

Mitchell Moore and Patrick Luth are tied for seventh place overall with 36 hole totals of 148. Both players shot 73 in the first round and 75 in round two.

The final round is slated for Tuesday at 10:00 a.m.
