Postgame Quotes
Cleveland State vs. Chicago State
Dec. 19, 2006
Cleveland State Head Coach Gary Waters: "This is another game we should have won. Two in a row. We have to find a way to win these kind of games. This is something we have to learn from and do a better job."
On giving up a big lead down the stretch: "We panicked and threw the ball away unnecessarily. You can't panic in those situations. They cut our lead down too quickly and we just can't let them do that. It's disappointing."
On overcoming the loss: "We have to find a way to get out of this. The problem is that when something goes wrong it snowballs. That has happened with this group. They are used to the snowball affect and we need to get out of it."
Cleveland State guard Raheem Moss: "We weren't consistent. We showed sparks and flashes....certain points...whole 40 minutes."
On stepping up in scoring role: "I was in the right places at the right time. Tonight the shots just happen to fall in."
Chicago State Head Coach Jason Kent: "I am really proud of our guys. We played with a lot of confidence and wee well-prepared. This win means a lot to me and it means a lot to the kids. Good teams learn how to win on the road and handle adversity."
