DETROIT (AP) - James Thues scored 16 points and had six assists Saturday to lead Detroit past Cleveland State, 77-55.
Thues came off the bench to hit all six of his field-goal attempts, including two 3-pointers. Torvoris Baker and Willie Wallace added 15 and 12 points, respectively, for the Titans (11-10, 5-6 Horizon League).
Jermaine Robinson had a game-high 19 points for the Vikings (4-19, 0-12), who extended their school record with their 17th consecutive loss. Cleveland State lost its ninth straight game to the Titans and is 0-15 all-time at Detroit.
The Titans held the Vikings scoreless for 8 minutes in the first half and led by 10 at halftime. Detroit scored the first six points of the second half and was never challenged the rest of the game.
