Enaruna Signs with Boston Celtics

Boston, MA-Cleveland State's Tristan Enaruna saw his childhood dream realized on Thursday night as he signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the NBA's Boston Celtics to begin his professional career. The Celtics are the reigning NBA Champions after defeating the Dallas Mavericks four games to one last week. The Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year minimum salary deal with a specific Exhibit 10 attachment built into it. The contract can be converted to a two-way contract prior to the start of the regular season which allows the player to play for a team's G-League affiliate as well as the NBA roster.

Enaruna will look to become the seventh player in program history to earn an NBA roster spot. Most recently, D'Moi Hodge saw time this past year with the Los Angeles Lakers and Norris Cole played eight total seasons with three different teams.

Enaruna capped a decorated two-year career at CSU by earning first-team all-league honors for the second year in a row. He registered a total of 1,516 career points and was also named to the Horizon League All-Academic Team this past year for his performance in the classroom. Enaruna finished his senior season ranked in the top-15 among league players in scoring, rebounding, assists, blocked shots and field goal percentage.

Following his standout career at CSU, Enaruna was invited to the prestigious Portsmouth Invitational Tournament where he had the chance to perform alongside the top college seniors in the country for professional scouts. Enaruna was named the MVP of the tournament after scoring in double figures in all three games during the tournament.

Enaruna worked out for numerous teams in addition to earning an invitation to the NBA's G-League Elite Camp last month. He begins his professional career with summer league play in Las Vegas starting July 12. Click HERE for more information and details on the NBA's Las Vegas Summer League.
