
Cleveland, OH-Senior forward Tristan Enaruna has been named to the Horizon League Men's Basketball All-League First Team, the league office announced today. This marks the second consecutive year that Enaruna has been named to the first team.
Enaruna ranks second in the league in scoring, closing the regular season averaging 20.2 points per game. He has scored 20 or more points in 11 consecutive games and 14 of the last 15. Enaruna is averaging 20.5 points per game in league competition.
He also ranks in the top-15 in the Horizon League in rebounds, assists, blocks and field goal percentage. For the season he averages 6.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and just under one block per contest. He has registered a 49.9 percent clip from the field in the regular season.
Enaruna was one of five student-athletes named to the league's All-Academic team last week thanks to his efforts in the classroom. He carries a 3.49 GPA as a communications studies major. Enaruna is the first student-athlete in program history to be named to the Horizon League's All-Academic team.
The Vikings begin the Barbasol Horizon League Tournament tomorrow night, playing host to IUPUI at the Wolstein Center. Cleveland State is the seventh seed and will take on the tenth-seeded Jaguars in the First Round at 7:00 p.m.
