Cleveland State Snags No. 1 Seed in 2021 #HLMBB Tournament

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland State men's basketball team enters the 2021 #HLMBB Tournament as the top overall seed after clinching a share of the 2020-21 regular season title on Saturday night. Cleveland State and Wright State each finished with an identical 16-4 record in League play.

The Green and White will host a quarterfinal contest on Tuesday, March 2nd at the Wolstein Center. Cleveland State will square off against the lowest-seeded winner of the opening round. Tipoff for that game will be at 7:00 p.m. and aired on ESPN+, as well as 1420-WHK, 102.5 FM and www.whkradio.com

The Vikings, who set an all-time program record for most wins in any conference/league with their 16th #HLMBB win of the season on Saturday, are League champs for the first time since the 2010-11 season. It's only the fifth time in school history the team has finished the regular season No. 1.

To celebrate Cleveland State's success, the Athletics Department has announced a special edition ticket offer. For $20.00, Viking fans and supports will receive two single game ticket vouchers for the 2021-22 season, in addition to a #HLMBB regular season championship t-shirt.
