Cleveland State Selected to Play on ESPNU

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State men's basketball game against Detroit Mercy on Friday, Feb. 12 has been selected to be televised on ESPNU, ESPN and the Horizon League announced Wednesday afternoon. The contest will also be aired live on 1420-WHK, 102.5 FM and whkradio.com. Tipoff for that match will be at 9 p.m.

Cleveland State's Feb. 12 contest on ESPNU marks the third game this season the Vikings will appear on an ESPN linear network. The Green and White are currently a perfect 2-0 when appearing on either ESPNU or ESPN2, notching wins at Wright State (Jan. 15, 66-64, ESPNU) and at the Wolstein Center against Milwaukee (Jan. 22, 64-53, ESPN2).

It's also the first time since the 2014-15 season Cleveland State has had three regular season contests broadcast on an ESPN linear network.

Currently sitting atop the Horizon League standings with a 12-2 league record, with six league games remaining, Cleveland State is only two wins away from surpassing the 2010-11 team's 13-win total for most #HLMBB wins in program history.

Building off of the team's success, Cleveland State Athletics launched Early Bird Pricing, a savings of approximately 20%, for the 2021-22 men's basketball season. Fans can either purchase their full season tickets or put down a $50.00 deposit to lock themselves into the Early Bird Pricing. This limited-time offer will end at the conclusion of the 2020-21 season.  In addition, for every ticket deposit or purchase, fans will receive a complimentary CSU basketball hat prior to the 2021-22 season.

Both of the Vikings' contests against Oakland this upcoming weekend will be aired on AM-1420, 102.5 FM and www.whkradio.com, as well as on an ESPN3.
