Food Bank February and More - Cleveland State Basketball

CLEVELAND, Ohio - With four home games left in the 2017-18 regular season, the Cleveland State men's basketball program has partnered with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank to raise awareness and supplies for those in need during the winter months in Cleveland.  During all men's basketball home games in February, fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. 

For every five (5) canned goods donated, fans will receive ONE FREE LOWER LEVEL TICKET to the home game that day. Donations must be made at the NORTHWEST or NORTHEAST Box Office on game day to receive the ticket offer.

The six most needed foods in need are:

  • beef stew
  • canned soup
  • canned vegetables
  • canned tuna
  • peanut butter 
  • cereal

The four men's basketball home games in February are as follows:

Thursday, February 1 vs Wright State – 7PM (216 Hoopy Hour starts at 5:30PM)

  • Academic Recognition Night

 Saturday, February 3 vs Northern Kentucky – 3PM (Free KidZone starts at 1:30PM)

  • Hall of Fame game
  • Divine 9 Day
  • Cheer Clinic

Wednesday, February 14 vs Detroit – 7PM (216 Hoopy Hour starts at 5:30PM)

Friday, February 16 vs Oakland – 7PM (216 Hoopy Hour starts at 5:30PM)

  • Viktoberfest – Craft Beer tasting event – pre-game
  • Senior Night
