WCJB TV 20 Feature on Shelbie Seeberg
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Incoming Cleveland State University fencing team member Shelbie Seeberg was recently recognized by a local TV station as its Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
Seeberg, who signed a National Letter of Intent with CSU during the early signing period in November, was named the TV20 Scholar-Athlete of the Week by WCJB, a station located in her hometown of Gainesville, Fla.
Seeberg sports a 4.755 grade point average at Newberry High School. In the video feature, Seeberg discusses her initial reluctance to fencing, the role the support of her parents has played and her goals moving forward. Click here to watch the feature on Seeberg.
With the 2017-18 season complete, Cleveland State will await the 2018-19 season with great anticipation as the Vikings are set to host the NCAA Men's and Women's Fencing Championships next spring.
